STAND DOWN: Veterans Event At The Capitol

The annual Homeless Stand Down event will take place on the capitol grounds over the weekend.

The event is designed to help homeless veterans, by offering free services like haircuts and dental screenings.

There will also be legal services available for those who wish to use it.

Veterans will receive a warm meal and sleep in the tents provided on the capitol grounds.

Organizers expect more than 1,000 people to attend.
