PALLET FIRE: Urbandale Business Fire

Urbandale firefighters were called out to a familiar location Monday evening.  At around 7:00 p.m. they arrived at Pallet Recyclers of Iowa.  Smoke was billowing from a building filled with old pallets.

Firefighters were kept outside because of the risk of the fire spreading quickly in the piles of dry wood.  But they had been called to a fire at the building before, and they knew just how to get it under control.

No one was inside the building and no one was hurt, but the building was damaged.
