SALAD BARS: Des Moines Schools Fighting Obesity

Hy-Vee and the Dole Food company are teaming up to improve school lunches.

They’re donating five salad bars to schools in the Des Moines and Boone areas.  It’s part of First Lady, Michelle Obama’s initiative to combat childhood obesity.

So far, more than 1,400 salad bars have been donated to schools nationwide.
