VOTER FRAUD: Hearing Held Tuesday

Iowa Secretary of State, Matt Schultz’s efforts to stop voter fraud will be the focus of a hearing Tuesday.

Earlier this year, Schultz enacted a new rule to remove registered voters who are listed as noncitizens on state and federal databases.  Schultz says the rule is needed to prevent illegal immigrants from voting and plans to defend it at a legislative hearing Tuesday.

Two civil rights groups have filed lawsuits over the change.
