WANTS OUT: Former CEO Wants Out Of Jail

An accused embezzler wants out of jail until trial.

Former Peregrine Financial Group CEO Russ Wasendorf Sr. is charged with 31-counts of fraud.  He is accused of lying to regulators about the amount of money Peregrine had in customer accounts.

Wasendorf is seeking his release from federal prison prior to his October 15th trial.

A hearing on the request will take place Tuesday.
