FED EX FRAUD: Fraudulent Computer Purchase

Police say a Fed Ex employee stopped someone from ripping of the Des Moines district.

Someone claiming to be with Des Moines Public Schools placed an order for $30,000 worth of computers from Dell. 

A Fed Ex employee noticed the shipping address wasn’t the one usually used by the district.  The employee alerted district officials, who contacted Dell and cancelled the order.

Des Moines Police are investigating.
