RECYCLING RULES: Metro Waste Authorities Adds Caps

Metro Waste Authority says you can now recycle caps on plastic bottles.

Before you had to twist them off and toss them in the trash, but new technology now allows the tops to be recycled.

There’s also more demand for recycled materials, so empty your bottles, rinse them out and put the cap back on before putting them in your recycling bins.
