Joe Biden was on the campaign trail in Burlington Monday.  The stop began his two-day, three-stop swing through the eastern side of the state.

A union-heavy crowd of about 1,000 people attended the event.  The United Auto Workers’ president introduced Biden.  He praised Biden and Obama’s work to save the auto industry, which he says in turn, saved Iowa jobs.

At the microphone, Biden focused heavily on Medicare, taking aim at Mitt Romney’s plan.

Tuesday, Biden will be in Ottumwa and Grinnell.
