GROUND BREAKING: Crews Start Work In Johnston

Johnston Police and Fire will have a new, updated facility in the near future.  Official held a ceremonial ground breaking at the site Monday afternoon.

Construction crews are actually already at work on the project in the 6300 block of Merle Hay Road.

Johnston residents approved a $14 million bond in August of last year to help pay for the project.  The building should be finished late next year or early 2014.
