GUILTY PLEA: Hit And Run Suspect Pleads Guilty
An Ames woman charged in a hit-and-run crash pleaded guilty.
Court records show 44-year old Shelly Habhab has pleaded guilty to one count of failure to stop at the scene of an accident resulting in injury.
Police say Habhab crashed into Tyler Clark as he crossed the street in April. Clark suffered several broken ribs and a dislocated shoulder.
Police say Habhab fled the scene and had a broken windshield replaced in order to cover up the crash.
