DRUG BUST: Police Bust Marijuana Operation

Federal and local agents raided a Johnston home Wednesday morning in what appears to be a major drug bust.

The US Attorney’s Office says agents with the DEA and the Mid-Iowa Narcotics Enforcement Task Force raided the home at 7323 Longboat Drive in Johnston.

Johnston police tell the Des Moines Register there was a marijuana growing operation in the house.

The home is owned by Dr. Timothy Lantz.
