The Guthrie County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public for help to finding two antique machines.

Authorities say a 1950’s road grader and a 1956 John Deere Model 70 tractor are missing from a central Guthrie County farm.

The man was restoring the machines for their owners but ran into health problems and was away from the farm for an extended period of time. He says the machines may have been missing for as long as two years.

The theft of the machines was discovered when one of the owners showed up to pick up his machine. The man restoring the machines thought the owners had come while he was in the hospital to pick them up.

The road grader is valued at $6,500 and the tractor is valued at $4,000 If you have any information, you’re asked to contact the sheriff at 641-747-2214.
