EMPLOYEE ACCIDENT: School Worker Injured

A worker at a Des Moines school was rushed to the hospital Monday morning after a piece of equipment malfunctioned.

It happened around 9:30 a.m. at Lincoln RAILS Academy, which houses Lincoln 9^th graders.

Officials say the worker was changing light bulbs in the auditorium when the lift fell about 25 feet. The unidentified worker broke three ribs.

Rescue crews took him to Methodist Hospital for treatments.
