PLOW PLANS: Approval For Snow Ordinance

Though fall just started, the Des Moines city council already has snow on its mind.

Monday night, the council will adopt a new ordinance that changes where you can park when it snows. In order to save time and money all cars must be off city streets so wider plows can remove the snow.

The exception is in five high density areas where drivers can park on one side of the road one day and the other side the next.
