The Anderson-Erickson strike has been suspended.

The strike started around 9:00 Sunday.  Workers picketed outside the company all day Monday.

Around 9:00 p.m. Monday, the union workers left the picket line and went back to work.

The union and AE have agreed to a meeting on October 3rd to discuss their contract differences.

Union members will return to work until that meeting, and could go back on strike if they don’t like what they hear.

The dispute centers on health care costs and work hours.
