ASSAULT CHARGES: Teen Charges Dropped

Authorities dropped charges against two Story County teens accused of sexual assault. 

The two juveniles were charged along with 20-year-old Mason Reilly in July after a 17-year-old girl reported she was abducted from her home. 

The girl said the three took her to Peterson Pits near Ames, raped her, then drove away. 

The charges were dropped after a surveillance tape from a gas station shows the boys were miles away from Peterson Pits at the time of the alleged assault. 

Mason Reilly is still charged with second degree sexual abuse.
