RECYCLING NUMBERS: More Recycled Than Trash At Kinnick

Officials say there are more items being recycled than trashed at Kinnick Stadium.

During the Iowa, UNI game on September 15th over 6,000 pounds of material was recycled.  The amount of trash that went to the landfill was about 5,300 pounds.

The game day recycling program is part of the plan to divert 60-percent of waste from the landfill by 2020.
