FREE BACON: Local Radio Station Hands Out Free Bacon

Friday morning, people lined up early to get free packages of bacon.

Laser 103.3 held “Pig-Mageddon” at the Hy-Vee in Urbandale.  It’s based on recent reports that there will be a worldwide bacon shortage. 

Due to drought this year, some predict next year’s bacon will in short supply.  Poor corn and soybean harvests mean feed will cost more.
