WHEELS DOWN: Southwest Lands in DSM

Crowds gathered just off the tarmac to see the first Southwest plane make its landing. They even rolled out the red carpet for the employees on board. Governor Branstad was on hand to officially welcome the airline to central Iowa. He says Southwest’s arrival here won’t just be good for Iowans eager to travel. It’s also a good opportunity for the entire state of Iowa.
