Efforts to oust an Iowa Supreme Court justice aren't gaining as much momentum as they did two years ago.
That's according to a new Des Moines Register poll. It shows 49% of likely voters want to retain Justice David Wiggins. 41% say they will vote to remove him. The rest are undecided on the issue. Wiggins was part of unanimous vote leading to the legalization of same sex marriage.
In 2010, voters decided to remove three other justices involved in the Varnum v. Brien case. The retention issue will appear on the back of your ballot next month.
