WHO-HD Earns 3 Emmy Awards For Journalism Excellence
Station wins the most Emmys in Iowa
Channel 13 News earns coveted Best Newscast and Sportscast Awards
2012 WHO-HD awards total at 60
WHO-HD was the big Iowa winner at Saturday night’s Emmy awards gala in Minneapolis. Bringing home 3 statues including accolades for Best Evening Newscast and Best Sportscast. The awards were presented by The Upper Midwest Chapter of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences at the historic State Theater in downtown Minneapolis.
“I could not be more proud of the men and women of Channel 13 News,” says WHO-HD News Director Rod Peterson. “Their hard work and dedication to excellence continues to be recognized by not only our incredible viewers but also by their peers. I am proud to work with them every day.”
