ARSON CASE: Galbo Pleads Not Guilty

A man accused of setting a Des Moines church on fire has pleaded not guilty.

Fifty-six-year-old James Galbo is charged with arson in the August fire.

He allegedly set fire to the Lighthouse Full Gospel Baptist Church while people were still inside. The church was serving as an unofficial homeless shelter. Galbo was living there at the time of the fire.

No one was injured but the church was destroyed.
