GUILTY VERDICT: Oskaloosa Ax Murder Trial

An Oskaloosa man has been found guilty of killing his mother’s boyfriend with a battle ax.

A jury convicted Bradley Arterburn of first degree murder Wednesday. Police say Arterburn attacked 58-year-old Robert Horovitz with a battle ax, hitting him several times and then stabbing him.

Arterburn faces a mandatory sentence of life in prison for the murder. He is scheduled to be sentenced December 31^st.
