SEA TO SEA: Bike Tour Goes Through Pella

RAGBRAI takes cyclist across the state of Iowa.  But if you’re looking for a bigger challenge, now there’s a new option.

Cyclists are signing up to trek across America in what’s called the Sea to Sea 2013 tour.

Participating cyclist will pedal for nine-weeks and 2,900 miles.

The ride raises awareness and funds for those living in poverty around the world.

Cyclist must raise $10,000 toward the cause to participate.

The tour begins next June in Los Angeles and ends in New York City.  Along the way it will stop in Pella.
