REVENUE BOOST: Election Season Helps

The US Postal Service is getting a big boost in revenue this month, and election season is a big reason why.

Because of mailings from local, state and national races, the post office is expected to collect $285 million in political postage this year.

Voters are also contributing by mailing in those absentee ballots.
