Just days after Des Moines School Board members fired Lincoln High School’s football coach, accusing him of bullying a student, an assistant coach at the school says he’s being bullied by other coaches.

School board members made it clear when they fired coach Tom Mihalovich, bullying wouldn’t be tolerated and everyone had the right to free speech.  But now assistant football coach Beau Flowers says other coaches at Lincoln are harassing and bullying him because he supported Mihalovich.  So Flowers is filing a complaint with the district. "I felt like anytime I was near even a couple players I would have a coach following me like maybe I was trying to tell the kids something that wasn't true." Flowers says,  "And you know, for me that creates a pretty hostile work environment"

Interim head coach Joe Bianchi says he hasn't heard anything about the allegations because he hasn't seen Flowers in a few weeks., but coach Bianchi adds, there's nothing to this and Flowers is just, in his words, "Stirring things up".
