SERVICES SET: Pat Ward Funeral Plans

Funeral arrangements have been announced for an Iowa lawmaker who passed away this week after a battle with breast cancer.

Fifty-five-year-old Pat Ward of Clive died Monday. She had served as a State Senator since 2004 and had been running for re-election.

A visitation is set for Thursday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Dunn’s Funeral Home at 2121 Grand Avenue in Des Moines.

A service is being held at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ at 4126 Grand Avenue at 10:30 on Friday morning.
