CAMPAIGN EVENT: Obama Visits Mount Vernon

President Barack Obama attacked Mitt Romney’s economic plan at a campaign event in Mount Vernon Wednesday.

Speaking to the crowd at Cornell College, Obama said Mitt Romney’s plan to cut $5 trillion in taxes favors the wealthy.

“You cannot grow this economy from the top down. You grow this economy from the middle class up,” Obama told the crowd.

He also lambasted Romney for not providing details to his plan and telling voters he’d let them know after the election. Obama called Romney’s plans a “sketchy deal”.
