CHURCH FIRE: Woman Pleads Not Guilty
An Ames woman says she had nothing to do with a fire at a catholic church in September.
Fifty one-year old Tina Meyer is charged with one count of First Degree Arson. She pled not guilty to the charge Tuesday.
Police say Meyer set fire to a second floor balcony at the Saint Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church on September 25th.
Police say Meyer’s car was found in the church parking lot and that she was suffering from burns to her feet when she was arrested.
Her trial is scheduled to begin on December 11th.
