DROUGHT MAP: Rain Helping Drought Conditions In Iowa

A new report shows the recent rain is helping to ease the drought.

About 64-percent of the state is in extreme drought now.  That’s about ten-percent less than last week.

A portion of four counties in northwest Iowa are still in the highest category of exceptional drought.  That is unchanged from a week ago.
