EVANSDALE SEARCH: Investigators Return

Investigators returned to Evansdale Wednesday night to continue their search for two missing girls.

Cousins Elizabeth Collins and Lyric Cook disappeared in July.  The girls were last seen riding their bikes from their grandmother’s home.

People in Evansdale reported a flurry of law enforcement activity Wednesday night.

The Black Hawk County Sheriff’s Department says it was helping in what they call a canvassing of Evansdale neighborhoods.  Investigators are trying to reach out to people who may not have been home during the first pass.

Officials say there are no new developments at this time.
