HALF-STAFF: Flags Flown At Half-Staff For Iowa Senator

The Governor is ordering all flags at state buildings be flown at half-staff Friday in memory of an Iowa Senator.

Pat Ward died of breast cancer Monday at the age of 55.  A visitation is being held Thursday until 7:00 at Dunn’s Funeral Home on Grand Avenue.

Funeral services are Friday morning at 10:30 at Plymouth Congregational United Church of Christ.

Governor Branstad says the US flag flown over the State Capitol Friday will be presented to Senator Ward’s family.
