TEACHER CHARGED: Sexual Exploitation Case
A former Aplington-Parkersburg High School math teacher has been charged with sexual exploitation by a school employee.
The Iowa Department of Public Safety says 24-year-old Ashley Anderson admitted to sexual misconduct with four different male students during the 2011-2012 school year. She faces four charges of sexual exploitation by a school employee.
The alleged abuse was reported in September to the Parkersburg Police Department, which called in the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation to help. The affidavit says the victims ranged from 16 to 18-years-old.
