CHILD NEGLECT: Des Moines Mother Sentenced Thursday

A Des Moines mother accused of neglecting her children will be sentenced Thursday.

Kijua Beaudrie pleaded guilty last month to the three counts of child neglect.  She’s accused of allowing her husband to sexually abuse three of their nine children.

James Beaudrie has entered a not guilty plea and is slated to stand trial January 28th.

Police say the family lived in the back room of a store at Merle Hay Mall prior to their parents’ arrests.
