SET ASIDE: Board Of Regents Approves New Plan

The Iowa Board of Regents approved a new plan they say will eliminate the tuition set-aside program. 

The plan hinges on the Iowa Legislature and their ability to fund a new $39.5 million student financial aid program that would benefit Iowa undergrad students who attend an Iowa public university and demonstrate need. 

The plan also requires university foundations to raise more than $200 million to be used for student scholarships.
