SERVICES SET: Funeral For Ogden Murder Victim

Funeral services are this weekend for a Boone County women police say was killed by her husband.

Twenty-five-year-old, Jaclyn Powell was killed last Saturday at her home in Ogden. She had two children.

Visitation is being held Friday night from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at St. Malachy’s Catholic Church in Madrid.

Her funeral is Saturday at 11:00 a.m., also at St. Malachy’s.

Police say Jaclyn Powell was killed by her husband Josh Powell. The results of her autopsy show she was strangled.

Investigators say Josh Powell killed her on Saturday, then called 911 the next morning and reported his wife was dead.

He is charged with first degree murder and being held in the Boone County Jail on a bond of $2 million.
