HAWKS LOSE: Iowa vs. Northwestern

The Hawkeyes rarely ever win at Northwestern in a good year. So Iowa fans pretty much knew what was coming to them in Evanston this year.

Iowa knew Northwestern would run it all game, and it didn’t matter. Iowa trying to get something going on offense – James Vandenberg wasn’t terrible, but when he made good throws, they were often dropped. For the second straight week, Iowa scores a pair of meaningless touchdowns to end the game. Wildcats win it 28-17.
