KNOT PLAYING: Jake Knott May Be Out For The Season
Iowa State Football Coach Paul Rhoads made an announcement this morning that Iowa State’s All-America linebacker Jake Knott may be out for the rest of the season.
Rhoads says that the Waukee High School Alum is having shoulder surgery in Chicago. At first it was thought that Knott would be out for the entire season but in a later update the coach expressed hope that the linebacker might recover in time for a Cyclone bowl game.
Knott is ISU’s captain, and just won Big 12 player of the week for his play Saturday against Baylor. He is a Senior, so his Cyclone career could be over.
