CANDY TRADE: Dentist Giving Money For Candy

Many Central Iowa families are heading out for Beggar’s Night in the next couple days.  And that means bags full of goodies.

But one area dentist is offering kids cash for their candy in hopes of preventing cavities.

Plaza Dental on Jordan Creek Parkway will give kids 1-dollar per pound of unopened candy.

You can bring the candy in on Thursday November 1st or Monday, November 5th between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

The candy handed over will be packed up and shipped to Iowa troops serving overseas.
