THREE MINUTES: Tom Ahart

In the past five months, the Des Moines Public School District has been caught up in a sexual email scandal, and Lincoln High School’s football coach was fired and accused of corporal punishment.

Through it all, the responsibility for 30,000 students has fallen on the interim superintendent, Tom Ahart.

He sits down for three minutes in the chair with Dan Winters.
