HOLIDAY SEASON: Santa’s Winter Wonderland Set Up

Now that Halloween is over, metro malls aren’t wasting any time getting in the holiday spirit.

Santa arrives at Valley West Mall in West Des Moines a week from Friday.

Thursday, his assistants added the finishing touches to Santa’s Winter Wonderland.  Workers say it usually takes two weeks to set up the display.

But this year, with an early thanksgiving, they had to move a little faster.
