Des Moines Police are investigating an overnight fight and stabbing that ended in two arrests.

It happened just after midnight Friday outside The Underground at East 5th and Locust.

Police say Thomas Tendrock and Richard McCabe, both 32, got into a fight and Tendrock was stabbed in the back and thigh. Paramedics took him to Methodist with non life-threatening injuries. After treatment he was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant for drug charges.

McCabe was taken to Broadlawns with superficial injuries, then arrested and charged with willful injury, disorderly conduct, and public intoxication.

Tendrock and McCabe are both being held in the Polk County Jail.
