POLITICAL PETS: Special ARL Election Day Offer
The Animal Rescue League is hoping to cash in on the political fever.
The new promotion is “Demo-Cats and Republi-Kittens.”
That means if you adopt a full grown cat, it’s a vote for the Democrats. If you get a kitten, it’s a vote for Republicans.
One adoption is going for $35 dollars.
The ARL says cats are best in pairs, so you can get a bi-partisan pair of felines for $55.
Stephanie Filer with the ARL says, “The reason we are doing this promotion is because we have so many cats in adoption, and we really want to make it affordable for people to adopt so people can use the money they are saving to spoil their cats.”
The promotion runs through Election Day.
