FIFTH DISTRICT: Steve King Wins 5th District

Congressman Steve King beat Christie Vilsack in the race for Iowa’s 5^th congressional district.

This will be King’s 6^th term.  He previously served as a State Senator from 1996 to 2002, representing the 6^th district.

Vilsack relocated to Ames from Mount Pleasant and Des Moines in order to challenge King.
