One of the men linked to a robbery at a Marshalltown credit union will be in court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing.

Twenty-two year old Ben Crisantos is charged with attempted murder for the November 2nd shooting of Marshalltown Police Officer Vern Jefferson.

Police say Crisantos and 22-year old Abel Ramirez robbed the Lennox Employees Credit Union and then led officers on a chase. During the chase Crisantos shot Officer Jefferson.

Jefferson was released from the hospital the following day.

Ramirez is charged with armed robbery.
