AUTOPSY RESULTS: Skull Fracture From Fall
Clive police say they don’t suspect foul play in the death of a man found in a parking lot early Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to 2175 NW 86th Street in Clive just after 2:00 a.m. Saturday after a man was found unresponsive in the parking lot. Forty-nine-year-old Randy Warrens was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators initially ruled the death suspicious, but results from an autopsy performed Monday show Warrens died from a skull fracture consistent with a fall to the concrete. Preliminary toxicology results also indicate alcohol may have played a role in his death.
The investigation into Warrens’ death continues.
