NEGLECT CASE: Hearing For Ankeny Parents

The Ankeny parents accused of locking two children in a basement is schedule to be in court Wednesday.

Paul and Joann Drake are both charged with false imprisonment and neglect.

Police say they locked their kids, ages 13 and 14, in their basement for weeks. Police say the only time they were let out was to go to school.

The kids have been removed from the home.

Wednesday the Drakes are scheduled for a preliminary hearing in the case.
