ATV CRASH: Teen Facing Vehicular Homicide

A Marshalltown teenager is facing criminal charges following a deadly ATV crash.

Police say 18-year old Derick Bear was driving his ATV on September 6th when his passenger, Mario Ortega, fell off and suffered a head injury.

Ortega later died from the injury, he was 14 years old.

Bear was arrested Tuesday and charged with vehicular homicide for his role in the crash.
