Des Moines police are investigating the robbery of a credit union Wednesday morning.

Police say the robbery happened at 9:21 a.m. at the Federal Employees Credit Union at 2524 Post Street. They say the suspect didn’t display a weapon and they are unsure how much money he got away with.

The suspect is described as an adult white male. He was wearing a black coat, black hat, and a black mask. Police have released images from the surveillance video in the hope that someone will recognize the distinctive coat the suspect is wearing. It has light-colored piping on it.

He left the scene in an unknown direction of travel.
