Des Moines police have released the name of the man found in the Raccoon River Tuesday.

They’ve identified him as 55-year-old David Michael Duran. Police say an autopsy leads them to believe no foul play was involved in his death.

Duran is from the Des Moines area but did not have a permanent address.

Though police say they don’t think Duran was the victim of a crime, they’re continuing the investigation into why his body was in the river.
